1. Personal Information Collection and Use

If you grant Red Bank History permission, we may collect and use personal information from you as follows.

  • Location Services
    Purpose: To show your location on the map, find the nearest historical sites, give you walking directions, and help improve OpenStreetMap.

Please note that you can decline a permission or revoke it after you granted it in the iOS settings. If you do so, we will not collect your personal information related to that permission. However, the functionality of Red Bank History may be limited as a result.

We may receive technical information about your device, for example, its IP address or operating system.


2. Personal Information Sharing

Red Bank History integrates various third party services. If you grant Red Bank History permission, we may share your personal information as follows:

  • Location Services
    • MapboxCoreNavigation
      Purpose: To navigate you to historical sites in Red Bank.
    • GoogleMaps
      Purpose: To show your current location and the location of historical sites on the map.
      Due to the implementation of the Google Maps Places API, by using this application, the user is subject to the Google Privacy Policy found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy.

All third party services may receive technical information about your device, for example, its IP address or operating system version. Also, they may keep your personal information over time and across different apps and websites.

Neither Red Bank History nor any third party services are using tracking technologies.

Red Bank History does not use any social login functionality.


5. In-app Purchase Information

Red Bank History does not process any in-app purchase information.

Users of Red Bank History must be at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will take all reasonable steps to delete it as soon as possible. We do not keep any of your personal information. It is forgotten as soon as the app is finished using it.

We do not store any of your personal information. We do not transmit your data anywhere outside of Google Maps and MapBox, which are for the sole purposes of navigation and showing your current location on the map.

When we make material changes to this privacy policy, for example, due to app updates or changes in the law, we will post the updated policy here. The policy will always apply in the version at the time of your use of Red Bank History even if you downloaded Red Bank History at a time when a previous policy version was applicable.
